Hello,
I have installed a 4-node File cluster.
If I connect to server1 through RDP and create a test folder on the local drive C, it takes 5 seconds to create these folder. Deleting also takes 5 seconds for these empty folder. Also creating a folder on server2 with a net use is very slow.
When I now connect to server2 by RDP and do the same test, creating a folder on the C-drive goes immediately. Doing the same thing on the C-drive of server1 by net use goes also immediately.
So it seems there is a problem with the local explorer.exe on server1.
After rebooting server1 the problem stays away for just one day and then come back.
All the servers are W2K8 R2 SP1 and running on the same HW (HP Gen8)
The end-users aren't experiencing any problems, only the admins connecting to server1 by RDP and working with the local explorer.exe.
Any idea to troubleshoot this problem?
KR,
Pascal
