I have a Windows 2012 Hyper-V Cluster with 2 Nodes.
They have a Dell PowerVault MD3260 Connecting to them via SAS.
I've gone through the steps of adding the 3rd node to the Dell PowerVault MD3260, I can see All of the Disks form the PowerVault.
I want to Run the Validation Tests before I add the server to the Cluster. Though I'm not sure about the Disk Validation? It asks to select a Disk to use for Validation, though if I select one, it says to be sure that no Roles are using it. All Disks have a Role using them. Should I have Created a Small 1GB Disk that is used Specifically for this Validation Test?
If I proceed with the Testing I get tons of Warnings relating to the Validation Tests on Disks, as that I didn't select one so no test can be performed.
What should I do?
