Welcome.
I'm trying to run a file server as a role in Windows 2012 . The cluster is connected to two LUNs on the array HP P2000 MSA by native Windows iSCSI client (not VMware iSCSI). A LUN is a witness in a quorum disk and a second LUN is shared cluster volume. The
file server is a scale-out type.
The problem is that the shares are often unavailable. It just hangs and remains unavailable for several minutes.
I have read that failover clustering is not supported on Windows , 2012. Is there any chance, however, that the file server scale-out is supported, if I use iSCSI initiator inside the VM?
Regards.
