Hi,
we have now tried to install our 2nd Dell VRTX with 2 nodes and 2 CSVs as 2012 Hyper-V Cluster.
Everything went fine, until one of the nodes got a hardware issue.
We evicted it from the cluster (works even with one node), reconnected the machine, reinstalled it and tried to add it to the cluster again.
Cluster Services installed, Hyper-V Role installed, all updates done, registry entry (AllowBusTypeRAID), added full access for the machine in the slot.
Adding the node to the cluster fails, because the 2 nodes seem to be unable to share the storage.
Installing the cluster worked without a problem, but during installation Dell says that the storage has to be offline for all nodes and I did it like I have done it in the past with several iscis slusters by just adding it to the cluster (after a validateion...).
I have no clue whether there is a certain trick or whatsoever with that kind of controller.
any help or suggestion higly appreciated.
