Create failover cluster to host Windows 2012 DC, Exchange 2013 and SQL as VMs

One of our clients has running Windows Essential 2012, SQL and exchange 2007 as VM on VMware for 4 years without major issue. However, the physical server is getting old and have some hardware issues recently. They have budgets to buy two Dell servers, EqualLogic SAN, Windows server 2012 Datacenter and Exchange 2013. Is it possible for them to create failover cluster to host Windows 2012 DC, Exchange 2013 and SQL as VMs?
