When one node is unavailable another one fails

We had a node crash due to a memory failure which has been fixed now, but one strange event still persists.

We have a five node cluster with 5 nic's on each node (1-Management, 2-LAN for VM's, 3-Heartbeat, 4-iscsi, 5-iscsi). If I disable the management nic on the node that had the memory error it shows up as unavailable in the Failover Cluster Manager, which is fine, but at the same time another node's management nic goes into a failed state as well.

Validation of the cluster completes without any errors and even when in this strange failed state, connectivity between all nics on all nodes is alright (with the exception of the one that has been disabled).

Are there any cluster diagnostic commands to help find the cause of this problem?

Thanks
