We want to test disabling NLB on a Windows 2003 NLB Configuration. We believe it is generating a lot of traffic that is slowing down our network. Just for a test we would like to try Round Robin DNS. What is the proper way to disable NLB? Is it to suspend NLB or basically do I have to completely remove it? I would like it to be in a state where it isn't sending any NLB traffic at all but can be quickly reconfigured if the Round Robin DNS doesn't help slowness.
