Newbie Question: Cluster Aware Updating

Greetings,

I'n new to clustering and have setup a 2-node 2102 test cluster on which I am attempting to activate CAU.  When I run the Analyze Cluster Updating awareness tool, everything passes except for the warning that "The machine proxy on each failover cluster node should be set to a local proxy server" along with links to a KB article which suggests runningnetsh winhttp set proxy <server>:<port>, "local".  I also remember this same point being highlighted at the Tech-Ed sessions on 2012 clustering.

AFAIK, I don't have a proxy (and shouldn't need one) - the WSUS server is on the same subnet as the cluster. SO I am at a bit of a loss as to what to do here.

Needless to say CAU fails if I attempt to run it - shortly after beginning patch install on the first node - with the message"The Microsoft WindowsUpdatePlugin plug-in reported a failure while attempting to install updates on node "DAQHVB". Additional information reported by the plug-in: (Cluster Update Exception) There was a failure in a Common Information Module (CIM) operation, that is, an operation performed by software that Cluster-Aware Updating depends on. The computer was "DAQHVB" and the operation was "InstallUpdates[CAUNode, WCD[DAQHVB]]. The failure was WU_E_DS_NODATA ==> (CIMException) FAILED HRESULT 0x80248007"

Many thanks for any assistance.
