[Server 2012] Move from node and disk majority to node and file share majority

Hi all,

I have a quick question. We are currently designing a new failover cluster for SQL 2012 on Windows Server 2012 R2. We start with a single data center and want only high availability. In the second half of 2015 our new data center will be fully functional. We want to start only with HA and when the second data center is up and running we want to add DR to our solution.

We want to start with node with disk majority and when the second data center is available we want to change that to node with file share majority (with the file share witness in on of our abroad data centers, low latency, redundant connectivity).

To make a better choice if we need to start with disk or file share majority I have one question:

- Is it possible to change the majority type without downtime?

Kind regards,
