Failover nodes that are running inside of Windows Server 2012 virtual machines may fail to join the cluster

Hi,

I Ran system advisor the other day and I'm getting this message:

Failover clusters that are running inside of virtual machines may have problems
with nodes joining the cluster. The problem occurs due to the network packets
not reaching to the virtual machines due to a failover cluster component
“Microsoft Failover Cluster Virtual Adapter Performance Filter” that is bound to
the network adapters of the hosts. To address this issue, disable the "Microsoft
Failover Cluster Virtual Adapter Performance Filter" object. See the following
KB article for more information.

What are the negative implications of disabling the filter? Is this something I should do? I run guest clusters on all my Hyper-V hosts.
