Hi,

We are having two node Windows Server 2003 cluster sharing common storage, we have decided to upgrade the OS to Windows Server 2008 Ent. R2 Now for this we have done following:

1. We have Evicted one node from Cluster

2. We have installed windows Server 2008 Ent. R2 on same evicted node (Fresh install).

3. Post installation added clustering feature in Server Manager, Validated configuration and migrated the same from Windows Server 2003 node to this 2008 node using cluster migration utility.

4. We have now evicted Windows Server 2003 node, installed Fresh Windows Server 2008 ent R2 OS on it and installed Clustering feature. Tried cluster service to start but it is in disabled state.

5. Here the problem begin - We are trying to add this node to the first migrated node while doing so it is saying Node alrady in cluster but it is not showing in Cluster configuration.

What could be the issue i stucked here and worried as only one node is in running the show.

requesting you to please help.

Thanks

Umesh
