Windows 2012 failover cluster cannot bring network name online. Kerberos invalid syntax error.

I created a new Windows 2012 failover cluster of one node.  The cluster was created successfully, and the core name/ip address resources were created properly.  Our domain is a mix of 2003 and 2008R2 domain controllers.  The CNO has been granted "full control" to its container in AD (I know that only "create computer objects" and "read all properties" are needed, but this is testing).

After launching Cluster Manager, I created an empty role, then added a client access point resource.  The server is DHCP, so I am only prompted for name.  The resources are created, and I bring them online.  The IP address comes online, but the name fails with this event log error:

Event Log = System, Source = FailoverClustering, ID = 1194

Cluster network name resource 'testtpname' failed to create its associated computer object in domain 'testing.local' during: Resource online.

The text for the associated error code is: Invalid syntax

Please work with your domain administrator to ensure that:

- The cluster identity 'TESTTPHYPVCLUS$' has Create Computer Objects permissions. By default all computer objects are created in the same container as the cluster identity 'TESTTPHYPVCLUS$'.

- The quota for computer objects has not been reached.

- If there is an existing computer object, verify the Cluster Identity 'TESTTPHYPVCLUS$' has 'Full Control' permission to that computer object using the Active Directory Users and Computers tool.

When I view the properties of the resource, I see this:

Please help!
