MS Access database on a cluster

I have recently figured out how to set up a cluster with shared storage in a virtual environment. It works great!

I have someone that wants to use this in conjunction with an multiuser MS-Access database that sits on a shared drive.  Based on what I've read, this will not work (or at minimum, it would result in a corrupt database). Would someone confirm that I'm correct in this assumption?
