Clustering two server's without iscsi

Hello,

I recently purchased two LSI HBA's that apparently are OEM signed and LSI won't RMA it since I bought them from ebay (tried several different boards, UEFI, legacy DOS, Linux, nothing could get the device's initialized, however I did see some "undefined" pci devices in the UEFI shell, but I did not want to risk screwing up any mapping's), so I am stuck with this pretty challenging task...

The two server's are nearly identical, I attempted to create a cluster and had obviously many issue's...

I created two VM's and had all the local disk's configured as ISCSI target's, the VM's were remotely accessing the disks on each opposing server...

Problem 1, was maximum amount of connections was 1, so CSV's weren't really possible, even though I added the IQN of the opposing initiator in the host's settings...

Problem 2, I ran a cluster validation, it passed with many warning's (all storage bus related), and I figured I would give it a go, I did, and well, all those targets' were deleted....

I ran into a great deal of problems, one of them was my inability to install updates on one of the host's which after many trials and error's, and for some reason tons of fragementations on the disk, I decided to reinstall from scratch...

I have contacted my ebay seller (kscsi is his/her name, his hardware is cheap, but it doesn't work! it takes 40-60 days for hardware to get to you, and by that time it's not longer covered by ebay protection), and it's been a few days so no response...

Is there configuration I can do on the host level or will I need to do it all via VM's?
