Hi , we have a Windows Server 2012R2 Failover Cluster with HyperV, we have multiple SAN backed CSV volumes that are already created as Storage volumes.
we noticed that some of these volumes are simply called "New volume" in the Disk management
the Disks are originating from DELL storage Luns and are mapped to both servers in the cluster using Fiberchannel HBAs and have multipathing
i was wondering if i can simply go to the owner node of this Disk and open Disk-management and simply rename the NTFS volume or will it create issues with the mapped volumes or the cluster disks?
if it would create issues , please help to share the safe way to do this
thanks
