Server 2012 DC/Cluster Solution

Hi Everyone,

I have a pretty big problem, but I'm hoping that the community will have some insight on how to go about fixing this. Recently we ordered 2 new servers with Server 2012 Standard edition to replace our 2003 R2 servers. The intention was to utilize these two machines for everything - a few small apps, connecting to our new iSCSI SAN, new Active Directory Domain and a cluster. We were under the assumption that since a Domain Controller in previous versions of the operating system can be clustered that server 2012 also could be clustered - not the case.

So my question to the community is this - how do we fix this problem? I've read a bit about virtual Domain Controllers - is it possible to put hyper-V on these machines to create a redundant DC across them AND cluster them using the Server 2012 licenses we already have? Would that put us out of compliance? Any suggested alternatives to clustering? We mainly rely on storage and as I said just a few small apps that utilize a server client however these machines also should authenticate access and host printers. We're a small to barely medium size operation so the machines won't be under heavy load. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated to rectify this mess.
