Failover clustering scenario question

Hello,

we want to build a Windows 2012 cluster, no Hyper-V, with the purpose of sharing an application (same Windows service) on two different non- routable networks. There are only 2 nodes, both connected to a SAN, with a dual failover link between them (1GBE). Also they have another public network that connects them to AD and DNS. From what I understood so far they will need this registration as a 'must' requirement to configure the cluster - is this true?

- If, so, then, can I setup the cluster on the public network but also somehow add each of the other private networks and setup there virtual IPs for each of them (1 in each subnet), so the clients on these networks can access the application by IP (they don't use DNS on these networks and can access it by IP)?

- Or, can I then setup 2 instances of failover clusters, on each private network and still access AD/DNS on the public network (getting two cluster names)? If, this works but, must use AD/DNS in the same subnet, then I will probably setup 1-2 DCs in each subnet, just for this purpose.

- If not, then is there any solution that you can think of? Would it be easier to configure this if we use Hyper-Vs?

Thanks in advance!
