changing cluster vlan/ip

Say we got fail over clustering with server 2008, active passive with one virtualname

Node1: 10.10.10.10

Node0: 10.10.10.11

Cluster 10.10.10.12

Virtualname 10.10.10.13

Customer has to change the vlan so all IPS have to move to 10.11.12.0 last octet the same.

Problem: I went to clusterfailover manager and went to edit and remove add the new IP, but it was forcing 10.10.10.0/24 only for the new/edited IP for both the virtual name and cluster IP

Is this because we haven't changed the physical node public IPS to the new vlan or is it we need take the resources offline first. The current and moving to vlans are routable

Or do I just need to use the cluster.exe tool instead of GUI.

I have searched and read posts articles relating to IP change here, but none cover what I am running into
