iSCSI + MPIO + Failover Clustering + Windows Server 2008 R2

I am setting up 2 servers as clustering Failover and the shared storage is Freenas. I don't expect help for Freenas on here but if the MS part can be validated I would get it out of the way. This is my setup with the exception that The Dell 2950 is now the Freenas and replaced with a Proliant ML150 G6:

Edit: Unfortunately I had another image here which vanished and trying to add it again I get a warning (max 2 images per message) although I only had 2 images so I will have to use a thousand words to describe it instead...

2 servers (nodes) Both servers have 4 NICs

Both are Server 2008 R2 SP1 Datacenter, OS on hardware RAID1 with 24GB RAM, 2x Xeon.

server#1:

NIC1 10.0.1.10/24 iSCSI going to switch#1 VLAN2

NIC210.0.2.10/24 iSCSI going to switch#2 VLAN2

NIC3 10.0.0.1/24 (crossover cable going to server #2)

NIC4 192.168.124.215/24 going to LAN switch

Server#2:

NIC1 10.0.3.10/24 iSCSI going to switch#1 VLAN3

NIC210.0.4.10/24 iSCSI going to switch#2 VLAN3

NIC3 10.0.0.2/24 (crossover cable going to server #1)

NIC4 192.168.124.214/24 going to LAN switch

iSCSI Switches are 2 Powerconnect 5424 with Jumbo frame enabled and both are split in 2 (VLAN2, VLAN3)

I have also the Freenas with 4 NICs: 10.0.1.5/24 10.0.2.5/24 10.0.3.5/24 10.0.4.5/24 (each connects to it's pair)

All iSCSI NICs have Jumbo frame enabled, from server #1 I can ping -f -l 8972 10.0.1.5 and all pings are <1ms (no lost packet)

I can do the same on all iSCSI NICs.

For each server I selected the "Discovery" tab "Discovery Portal" button and entered the 2 IP addresses.

Looks like I am limited to only 2 images so I will try to add a second part to my question...

Mike
