DC for a cluster in Windows Server 2012

Hi!

Documentation says that the new feature in Failover Clustering in Windows Server 2012 is the ability to run without physical domain controller. So I decided to test and make a Hyper-V cluster and then install a DC inside a VM. But when I open Failover Clustering Manager I get the warning that says I should use a domain user in order to get the access. That means I should setup a DC first. Do i get it right? Or maybe there's another way to make a cluster without DC?

Thank you.
